The Parable of the Lost Sheep.

We are all sheep in a way. We are all God's sheep. We all tend to stray away from the Lord and his ways. Have you ever thought of it that way? As children of God we are sinners, and we are all considered lost. He has love for each of us that is unconditional and never ending. We are his sheep, and we should stay with our master. We should all follow him, and listen to him. Never should any of us stray away, but if that happens he will lead us back.

"See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of  my Father who is in heaven. What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go in search of the one that went astray? And if he finds it, truly, I say to you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine that never went astray. So it is not the will of the Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish." - Matthew 18:10-14

As Christians and believers in Christ we should all follow God's plan. If we astray from God's path we should ask for his help in coming back onto the path. Ask and you will receive in his name. Are you a lost sheep in need of God's grace and love? I believe the answer to that question is that we are all lost sheep in need of God's love and guidance. Not a single person should be singled out to be lost in the world, for we are all in need of the love of God. We should ask for his guidance in life to live a life with love for the Father.

Do you have the love and dedication to live a life full of God? Are you going to live your life for him or yourself? Follow his path, and listen to his word. If you should get away from the herd you should ask for his help, and he will soon find you and rejoice with gladness.

Follow his path that he has set for all of us, and keep the other sheep surrounding you near you with love. Follow your shepherd, which is the Lord our God.

The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all.
Amen.
