The Prayer of Faith.

At some point in everyone's lives we all suffer in some sort of manner, whether it be a death of a loved one, a sickness, an injury, or anything. I would like to point out that everyone should not just pray for themselves or just their family, but to pray for the people that surround you or the people that you don't even know. Even the richest people need prayers, everyone needs prayer. Pray for each other. Praying does marvelous things, and I can't say that enough.

"Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let him pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will sack the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has a great power that is working." - James 5:13-16

The prayer of faith is an amazing thing, without a doubt. I have made a habit of confessing to the Lord of my wrong doings, when I do something wrong I will ask for forgiveness and pray to him. It's very important to learn what you have done in order to be forgiven. I've started to have constant prayer with God on a daily basis, whether it's to ask for guidance or thanking him for another day of life. I also ask to help the people that are sick and in need of his love.

I would like to talk about prayers being answered, I've heard of some people saying, "I don't think God has answered my prayers." My belief (you may disagree or agree) is that you may be asking for the wrong thing, or you may be just praying for yourself which is selfish. When you pray and talk to God, you should not only ask for his guidance in life, but you should ask him to help the people that need his love more than you do. There is always someone out there that is worse off than you or I. They need your prayers, they need God's help.

"You do not have, because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions." - James 4:3

Do not ask wrongly, when you pray. Be gracious and thankful.

"God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you." - James 4:6-8

Draw near to him, and have constant prayer.

Remember, to not just pray for yourself or the people you love. But pray for the people surrounding you, the people across the world, and for the people you do not know. Never forget that everyone in the world needs God's prayers.

The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all.
Amen.
